Shelly Bay, Climate Change, Wellington transport and the eradication of homelessness are just some of the key issues Wellington's Mayoral candidates are making their platforms on. Underpinning all of these issues, how transparent will their decision-making be? Will they be accountable to Wellington residents about use of our rates, and what is and isn’t working? These issues are far too important to be handled behind closed doors.

Come and hear the 2019 Mayoral candidates speak on integrity, transparency and accountability and what it means to them and YOUR community.

Be part of the movement empowering local populations to determine how we live in OUR communities. Join Transparency International New Zealand, Commentator Max Rashbrooke, and Chair Tamatha Paul to discuss these pressing issues with your 2019 Mayoral Candidates!

Thursday 26th September 2019, 12:30pm – 13:30pm, Old Government Building, Lecture Theatre 3, Victoria University of Wellington, Pipitea Campus
